Before you can start annotating in the Contract.fit solution, you need to have documents in your inbox, which you can work with.
Uploading a document
Read the steps underneath.
Go to the upload pane
Select the files you want to upload / OR / Drag & drop the files you wish to upload*
The files will appear in the upload list on the page
Click 'upload all' at the bottom of the page / OR / Click the 'upload'-button for every single document you wish to upload
Wait until all the green bars (indicating the upload progress) are full before you leave the page
For asynchronous uploads, a pop-out message shows that documents are being processed.
*It is not possible to upload a file without an extension, as it will be rejected and not processed
You can also upload sample files that are at your disposal at the bottom of the screen. Upload these by ticking their boxes and clicking the upload button above it.
Once the documents are uploaded and ready to be processed by the machine, they will move to the inbox.
Uploading a document (2)
The previous section covered document uploading on the front-end of the solution. However, if you wish, it is also possible to upload documents on the back-end with our APIs.
