Settings give you the flexibility you need, whether it is in terms of look and feel, integration, or automation.

To allow for maximum reuse of settings, while enabling fine-grained control over settings, we use a hierarchy of levels at which settings can be defined.
If they are not defined on a given level, the settings are inherited from the level below.
Currently levels 1 (Default), 2 (Organization), and 4 (Inbox) are supported. Support for level 3 and 5 will be added in the future.
Retrieving and defining settings
Settings can be viewed and defined within the portal (depending on your permissions). As with all elements of the portal, you can also access the underlying APIs directly (work in progress).
