The review screen

There are a number of settings which are specific to how you want to review documents, with regards to the look and feel of the Data Entry Companion and the workflow.

Context bar

The four elements of the context bar can be made visible or hidden. If none of the elements is visible, the context bar itself will be hidden.

Toolbar

The toolbar contains two elements

Page navigation: they can be
- Shown
- Hidden
Buttons: they can be
- Shown as buttons: in this case they will be visible directly on the toolbar
- Shown nested within their menu: in this case, they can be accessed through their parent menu dropdown
- Hidden

Workflow

In addition to what is described below, you can define which documents (based on their status) should be included in the workflow. This is described in Roles and Permissions .

Locking:

Here you can define if locks expire and if so after how much time. A document with an expired lock will still appear as locked. Yet, another user can "steal" an expired lock.

This feature is particularly useful to avoid documents from being locked by users that can not be expected to login timely to finish the review of a locked document (e.g., holidays).

Read only after submitting:

A document that has been submitted can be rendered read-only using this setting.

Note that sampling can overrule this setting, yet this will not lead to an additional submit.

Pre-fetch:

You can choose to turn pre-fetch on / off. As you may remember, pre-fetch obtains a lock on a next document and caches the data for the next document while reviewing a document to speed up loading times.

Exception-based review

Sequence:

You can choose whether the exception-based review follows the sequence of the data table view, or the order of the document view. Data table view sequence will offer fields for review based on the sequence of the Fields table and other data tables (output-oriented). Document view sequence will offer fields in the order they were found on the document itself (input-oriented).

Read-only fields based on confidence levels:

You can choose to mark fields as read-only if their confidence level is higher than the confidence threshold

Available fields

Conditional:

You can choose to be able to indicate only fields for which the condition already evaluates to true or to be able to indicate all fields (even if their condition currently evaluates to false).

Overwrite even if found and not multiple:

For fields that have been found and which cannot appear multiple times according to the format, you can choose whether or not to include them in the list of options for a field.

When included and selected, this will effectively overwrite the current value of that field.

Table of Review Settings

Option	Description
review_by_table	exception-based review follows a certain order. When this option is enabled, then the sequence of exception-based review will be determined by the order in the data view. If this option is disabled, the sequence will be defined by the order of appearance on the document view.
start_review_on_first_table	when this option is enabled, you will be first directed to review the line item fields in the tables instead of the header fields
set_tables_in_vertical	enabling this will transpose the tables in the data view so that the column headers will be displayed vertically
copy_data_to_added_row
autofocus_first_action	with this option, the first field to review will automatically be highlighted upon opening the file
prevent_submit_with_remaining_fixes	Prevent submit with remaining fixes
multiple_labels	when this option is enabled, labels which can only occur once (multiple == false) will still be included in the dropdown with available labels even if they already have a value. If they are selected, the existing value will be overwritten. When this option is disabled, labels which can occur only once will not be included in the dropdown with available labels if they already have a value.
read_only_above_threshold	when this option is enabled, fields for which the confidence level is above the confidence threshold (marked in black) will be read-only
read_only_after_submit	when this option is enabled, submitted document is ‘read-only’
pre_fetch	when this option is enabled, next document is pre-fetched when working on current one
conditional_choicebox	when this option is enabled, then the dropdown with available labels will not include fields which are not visible
lock_expiry	To avoid users being able to have a lock on a document for a too long time, lock expiry can be enabled so that other users can 'steal' a lock if the lock is older than the indicated timeframe.
lock_enable	This means that the lock will not automatically be removed, but that it can be assigned to another user as part of pick-next when the lock is expired.
lock_timeout	set the timeout for the lock
