Welcome

Once you’ve successfully logged in, you should see the welcome screen below.

Two buttons will be automatically available to you for easy access: “Upload files” and “Developer documentation”. The first button will directly bring you to one of the pages of the website, the Upload page, and the second will bring you to Slate, a site full of working code snippets in the language of your choice.

After your first log-in, you or your administrator can change the settings so that you can see your inbox(es) directly from your welcome screen. Simply go to Settings and enable flexible_filters > welcome_counters, and click on the green Publish button on the top right corner. Once set up, every time you login, you will see an overview of your inbox(es) and how many documents need to be reviewed. These counters are automatically updated every time you upload new files, and every time you or another team-member finish(es) reviewing files.

Changing your password

If you wish to change your password, you can do so by going to your profile.

  1. Click on your avatar/profile in the right top corner of the page.

  2. Click on 'Change password' in the dropdown menu.

  3. Fill out the pop-up form with your old and new password.

  4. Submit the form by clicking 'confirm'.

  5. Your password has been changed.

Keeping your account safe

Once you’ve set up your account, you’ll want to keep it safe. Here are some recommendations:

  • Keep private information private. Your password should be known only to you. As a reminder, Contract.fit employees will never ask you for it.

  • Don’t reuse your Contract.fit password. Your password should be unique to Contract.fit. If you use your password on another site and that site is compromised, an attacker could use those stolen credentials to take over your account.

  • Update your computer and browser regularly. We recommend configuring your computer to automatically download and install updates (e.g., macOS or Windows). This helps protect your system against automated attacks and malware.

  • Beware of phishing. All genuine Contract.fit sites use the Contract.fit domain and are HTTPS. If you get an email from us that you don’t expect, go directly to our site to log in. Do not enter your password after clicking a link in email.

  • Enable two-step verification. If you do, you’ll need to provide an additional unique code from your mobile device to complete the login process—either received as a text message or generated through an app like Google Authenticator. This means even if someone steals your username and password, they won’t be able to log in. To use this feature, go to your user settings and enable two-step verification.
